1. A NEW LIST TECHNOLOGY ON THE MARKET
WASDI spin-off was created on 23 December 2020 and markets a patented technology developed at LIST, which already proved its efficiency worldwide by generating flood maps on a global scale from satellite data.
2. TOWARDS NEXT GENERATION COPPER FOIL
LIST and Circuit Foil signed a new, exciting and massive R&D collaboration in a €18 million partnership to research and deploy the next generation of copper foil for growing markets, such as energy, transport and communication.
3. NEW JOINT LAB FOR MAJOR SPACE PLAYERS
The 2021 year started with the launch a major joint-lab project between LIST & GRADEL researching, developing and producing pioneering ultra-lightweight structures for major names in the space industry.
4. LIST and SRC to create innovative natural cosmetic ingredient
On 15 October, LIST announced ground-breaking partnership with Société de Recherche Cosmétique (SRC), part of global cosmetics company NUXE Group for green “made in Luxembourg” research.
5. LAUNCH OF EU NANO-PHARMACEUTICAL PROJECT
On 1 March PHOENIX, a new cross-Europe project coordinated by LIST, was launched to create a testing ground for drugs using nanotechnologies.
6. LIST hosts successful third Tech Day
Around 300 people from all over the world attended the third and hybrid edition of Tech Day on 22 September to discover the latest technological advances of LIST and its partners.
7. LIST signs the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg
On 30 September, LIST signed the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg, proudly joining the 230 organisations willing to develop as well as promote diversity and inclusion in Luxembourg through a more inclusive culture.
8. LIST TO TEST LUXEMBOURG'S SUPERCOMPUTER
Two LIST departments have been working together on the supercomputer MeluXina, associated with LIST's giant Visualisation Wall, to produce and process large amounts of data for artificial Ferroic materials optimisation.
