Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub (L-DIH) stands as a guiding force for companies engaging in their digital transformation. As the nation-wide European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) for Luxembourg, L-DIH is dedicated to empowering the manufacturing SMEs, including logistics, with cutting-edge digital solutions. Our mission is clear: to inform, inspire, and engage SMEs on their journey towards digital excellence. By leveraging Luxembourg’s mature innovation ecosystem and fostering cross-border collaborations, we ensure businesses remain competitive in an increasingly digital world.

Innovation

The members of L-DIH consortium (Luxinnovation, LIST, Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity and Université du Luxembourg) are a lighthouse for European digital excellence, committed to guiding manufacturing SMEs along their digital transformation. They act as a one-stop-shop, providing guidance and services ranging from access to financing, trainings, maturity assessment and testing to Luxembourg companies.

Focus : Test Before invest activities

Focusing on its core mission, LIST provideS expertise in AI, 5G, IoT, and robotics to support companies at every stage of their digitalization journey. In particular, LIST provides Test-Before Invest activites, through a structured approach—Inform > Inspire > Engage, from raising awareness on digital opportunities to creating customized transformation roadmaps for SMEs,  with a focus on-, but not limited to-, Data Analytics and AI:

  • Free one-hour webinars to discover cutting-edge technologies and their industrial applications
  • Half-day trainings to test technologies hands-on based on industrial use cases
  • Dedicated support to project definition to design tailored Proof-of-concept solutions

Typically, Test before invest activities, address topics such as: Data predictive maintenance Visual inspection with machine learning, Data Storytelling rapid IoT prototyping, data user-centric design, Extended reality, etc.

Impact

Over the next three years, L-DIH aims to inform more than 250 SMEs, inspire 125, and engage at least 72 SMEs in meaningful digital transformation projects. Our consortium, comprising five key national partners and three associated partners, works in close collaboration with the Luxembourg Ministries of Economy and Communication. By bridging with national competence centers in HPC and Cybersecurity, we amplify EU efforts and contribute to a strong, interconnected digital ecosystem. Furthermore, as an active member of the EDIH network, L-DIH fosters cross-border cooperation with EDIHs in the Greater Region (Belgium, France, Germany), establishing over 15 collaboration corridors. By continuously assessing and refining our services, we drive best practices and ensure that Luxembourg remains at the forefront of digital innovation in Europe.
