LIST showcases its expertise in ICT and space applications at ICT Spring

Published on 11/05/2017

On May 9th and 10th, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) took part in ICT Spring to showcase its expertise in the ICT field and space applications.  This event gathered hundreds of attendees coming from over 72 countries.

The aim of ICT Spring is to encourage emulation and networking between business decisions makers, innovation managers, startups, researchers and venture capitalists on a European scale. It is a yearly event held in Luxembourg City, dedicated to exhibiting and demonstrating the latest relevant trends and innovations and discuss their impact on society and the working world.

LIST researchers Prof Dr Lucien Hoffmann, Dr Maria Rita Palattella, Prof Dr Eric Dubois and Prof Dr Jorge Sanz all made presentations as speakers during the event.

It was a good opportunity to explain why and how LIST can offer solutions to challenges implied by the rise of FinTech, RegTech and the government initiatives regarding space.

LIST’s booth during ICT Spring notably featured a tangible table, with ITIS and ERIN researchers explaining how this collaborative tool can help solve crisis situations related to water, electro-mobility…

LIST’s presence at ICT Spring was a great occasion to raise awareness on our activities and their impact.
