The 15th international conference on extraction and knowledge management
The annual conference of the Extraction et Gestion des Connaissances (EGC) association brings together researchers, industrialists and students working in adjacent areas linking, in particular, data mining, knowledge management, information visualization, cognitive sciences and applications, machine learning, databases and statistics.
The multiplication of information producers (humans, sensors, computers...) is one of the fundamental trends in today’s world, where information is connected and digitalised at an exponential rate. Taking into account this evolution, the use of IT tools becomes essential to interact with these massive, complex, dynamic, heterogeneous data of variable quality.
The EGC conference is a privileged exchange forum for researchers and manufacturers to discuss the latest innovations and scientific results, specify their needs, define challenges in this area and, more generally, contribute to the setting-up of a community of excellence, in particular in the French-speaking world, based on the theme of extraction and knowledge management.
