LIST's participation at Chercheurs à l'école

LIST will be participating at the Chercheurs à l’école 2017 to inspire the next generation of scientists!

Chercheurs à l'école is an event organized by the Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR) in order to invite researchers in Luxembourg to  ‘go back to school’ and inspire the next generation of scientists.

More than 20 LIST scientists will visit several schools in the country to interact and motivate future generations, and share their passion for science.

At the event researchers of all scientific disciplines will describe their life as a researcher: from their beginnings as a student, to their motivation for one or the other scientific discipline, first steps in their professional lives, career challenges and opportunities. This is the perfect opportunity for the students to ask all the questions they have in mind and to receive information on the advantages and also the possible disadvantages of being a scientist.
