LIST's participation in EnviroInfo & ICT4S 2015

The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) will participate in the joint conference EnviroInfo & ICT4S 2015 organised in Copenhagen on September 7-9 2015. Tomas Navarrete, Antonino Marvuglia, Alessio Mastrucci and Florin Capitanescu will be the representatives of the LIST.

During these two days, our researchers from the “Environmental Research and Innovation” (ERIN) department will present scientific publications and posters as well as thematic presentations. 

• Florin will make an oral presentation of the paper: "Assessing the Uses of NLP-based Surrogate Models for Solving Expensive Multi-Objective Optimization Problems: Application to Potable Water Chains", written by Capitanescu F., Marvuglia A., Benetto E., Ahmadi A., Tiruta-Barna L.
• Alessio Mastrucci will present the scientific publication "GIS-based Life Cycle Assessment of urban building stocks retrofitting- a  bottom-up framework applied to Luxembourg" that has been nominated for best paper award, and written by Mastrucci A., Popovici E., Marvuglia A., de Sousa L., Benetto E., Leopold U.
• Antonino Marvuglia will present the scientific publication" MIdpoint vs single score in multi-criteria optimization under life cycle assessment constraints: the case of potable water treatment chains" that has been nominated for best paper award and written by Capitanescu F., Igos E., Marvuglia A., Benetto E.
• The team will also present the poster entitled "Does having a green conscience necessarily lead to green outcomes? Results from an Agent Based Model for agriculture in Luxembourg".
