Four stands for LIST at the Science Festival 2015

From 12-15 November 2015, LIST will participate in the Science Festival at the Abbaye de Neumünster. The Festival, in its tenth year, is organized by the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN) and the National Research Fund (FNR) in order to promote science and technology to the general public and young people.

The first two days of the Festival are reserved for groups of students from primary and secondary schools in Luxembourg, who will take part in interactive and educational workshops. During the weekend, the Science Festival is open to the general public of all ages and everyone, from young children to the young at heart, is invited to take part.

This year, LIST will have four stands at the Festival, representing our three research departments, Environmental Research and Innovation (ERIN), Materials Research and Technology (MRT) and IT for Innovative Services (ITIS):

  • Helping Moselle Wines to Compete at the Top-Level Worldwide (ERIN)
  • Electricity and Smart Materials (MRT)
  • Smart Materials for Everyday Life (MRT)
  • Programme your Robot (ITIS)

Alongside numerous fun and hands-on workshops, there are also two exhibitions and different shows throughout the weekend.
