The City Nature Challenge (CNC) is coming back to Luxembourg for its sixth edition from 26 April to 29 April! From experts and nature lovers to citizens from all ages and educational backgrounds, join us in this worldwide initiative pushing forward the identification and preservation of our biodiversity.
This year, under the direction of the Musée national d’histoire naturelle, Luxembourg coordinator of the CNC, multiple entities have joined the initiative to offer you many events throughout the country!
Meet us on 28 April at Born
Together with Ramborn,the Natur- & Geopark Mëllerdall and Bee Together, we invite you to two days (27-28.04) of exploration and activities at the Ramborn Cider Haff and its surrounding meadow orchards. Discover this treasure trove of biodiversity using your smartphone and the INaturalist mobile app to catalog as many plants, animals, and insects as possible. Engage with LIST scientists and experts from our partner organizations at informational stands along the way, learning more about nature while enjoying time with friends and family.
Participants can join one of the available briefings on this citizen science initiative in the cidery's production facility, followed by a guided walk, or go wild and choose a self-guided exploration using provided maps. In addition to the educational activities, visitors can enjoy music, arts & crafts for children, as well as cidery tours and tastings.
