Iranian Delegation pays visit to LIST

An Iranian delegation visited the LIST on 11 May.

A Luxembourg economic mission to Iran had been organized in October 2016 with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy, Étienne Schneider, accompanied by more than 40 companies from Luxembourg.

At the outset, a first contact was made with intermediaries to discuss potential collaborations between LIST and Iranian organizations on topics of interest.

The ICT Spring event, in which an Iranian delegation was present and active, provided an opportunity for a visit of the Belval campus by a delegation of 8 people, led by Mr Ahmadreza Alaei, Director General, Technology Office at the Vice Presidency for Iranian Science and Technology.

This visit took place on 11 May 2017 in the morning, with a discovery of the Technoport premises, a visit to the LIST Showroom and a presentation at the Luxembourg Center for Systems and Biomedicines.
