Learn about pesticides and their impact on water resources at LIST’s stand at OekoFoire

This weekend, from September 25th-27th, 2015, researchers from the Environmental Research and Innovation (ERIN) department at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) will participate in the 2015 edition of OekoFoire, the annual environmental fair for the Greater Region, that will be held at Luxexpo, Luxembourg-Kirchberg. At the LIST's stand, number 2A62, researchers will inform visitors on pesticides regularly used by individuals in their garden, as well as raise awareness of the impact that the misuse of such products can have on water resources. They will invite visitors to:

• learn about the use, dangers and alternatives to pesticides
• discover the changes in the labelling of plant protection products that came into force on June 1st, 2015
• discover the research carried out in the area of water security and safety

On Friday, September 25th at 17:30, LIST will also give a presentation entitled "The use of pesticides by individuals and their impact on water".
