The conference will take place on as part of the framework for the European SME week on Thursday 8th of December 2016 from 12.30 pm to 5 pm at the Chamber of Commerce at 7, Rue Alcide de Gasperi at Luxembourg-Kirchberg.

After a networking lunch promoting exchanges between participants, industrialists, members of the REACH & CLP Luxembourg Helpdesk and speakers at the conference, a plenary session in French and English will address many topics such as:

  • The key points of the REACH & CLP regulations in relation to the current and future corporate obligations;
  • Regulatory actions under the REACH & CLP regulations with feedback from the Risk Assessment Committee (RAC) of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA)
  • The REACH registration deadline of 2018, which requires that all substances manufactured or imported between 1 and 100 tonnes / year are registered with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). This deadline concerns a larger number of companies, in particular SME’s, whether they manufacture or import substances within the European Union.
