PHD thesis defense

On October 19th, 2015, Youri Martin will present the results of the PHD thesis he did at LIST. The presentation will take place in Belvaux, Luxembourg at 9:30am. The official public presentation will take place on October 22nd, 2015, in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium).

As a PhD student of the UCL, he carried out his research at LIST under the supervision of Prof. Hans Van Dyck (UCL/ELI) and Dr. Nicolas Titeux (former researcher at LIST). The title of his thesis is "Predicting future species distributions: from correlations toward a beter understanding of underlying processes".  Yuri's work focuses on how butterflies are going to deal with global changes. The presentation will be given in French and with slides in English.
