Seminar on "Understanding and designing negative-compressibility materials from first principles"

On 16 November 2015, a lecture entitled "Understanding and designing negative-compressibility materials from first principles" will be given by Prof. Javier Junquera, from the University of Cantabria, in Spain.

Open to the public, the 1 hour seminar will be given in English. It will be held at 3:00p.m at LIST's offices at 41, rue du Brill in Belvaux. Admission is free.

Prof. Javier Junquera is a physicist working on computational materials science, internationally renown for seminal contributions to the understanding of ferroelectric nanostructures and the development of first-principles simulation methods.
