LIST PARTNERS WITH PM-INTERNATIONAL TO REWARD OUTSTANDING RESEARCH ON FOOD INNOVATION

The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) invites worldwide researchers in the fields of Food Science, Biotechnology, Food Chemistry and related fields, to participate at The Luxembourg International Award in Bioinnovation 2017 sponsored by PM-International AG.

LIST’s LIAB Award honours ground-breaking research papers submitted or published after 1 January 2014 in domains such as bioavailability of nutrients, nutrient transport and nutrient effectiveness on a cellular level.

The call is open to all academic ranks. Submissions must include the actual research paper, a 3-page summary of the research activities and a curriculum vitae of the submitting researcher. Researchers must submit their projects before 15 June 2017 in English to liab-award@list.lu.

The winner will be rewarded with the sum of 10 000 EUR. The selection process will be organized by a jury composed of academics from LIST as well as international experts. The award ceremony will take place on 23 November 2017 at Halle des Poches à Fontes, Esch-Belval, Luxembourg.

This initiative intends to support the younger generations towards contributing to a better future on the domain of food innovation while promoting Luxembourg as a Research and Innovation center in Europe.
