LIST researchers go to schools to inspire the future generation

On 27 - 31 March, several scientists from The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) visited schools in Luxembourg to talk about their research jobs and encourage students to follow a scientific carrier.

Chercheurs à l'école is a yearly event organized by the Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR) that invites researchers in Luxembourg to ‘go back to school’ and inspire the next generation of scientists.

More than 20 LIST scientists visited several schools in the country to interact and motivate future generations, and share their passion for science.

At the event the researchers of different scientific disciplines described their careers, their every day job activities, their education and the advantages and challenges of their jobs.

This initiative is a perfect opportunity for LIST to contribute to the community by supporting local events while inspiring the younger generation towards contributing to a better future into the scientific world.
